By Georgina Norris, Cambridge BRC, PPI/E Coordinator

Wednesday 13th December 2023, 10:30am – 12:00pm

Sessions are free for students and staff from the NIHR, NHS, UK universities, public sector institutions and registered charities based in the UK.

Communicating and disseminating research is one of the most important steps in the research pathway but is often overlooked. Patients and the public can play a really important role in helping us to write, produce and share information about in research in accessible ways that will reach their public audiences.

Join us for this interactive session as we look at writing for lay audiences, other formats for communication and tools for sharing our research and involvement opportunities.

This course has evolved from ‘Writing lay summaries for health research’.

Please note we work on PPI with adults; what’s discussed can relate to all audiences; however, we do not specifically cover PPI with children or young people.
